Dino Ge Zhang is a media anthropologist and a postdoctoral fellow at Zhejiang University. He received his PhD from the Digital Ethnography Research Centre, RMIT University. He previously studied art history and media studies at University of Melbourne and anthropology at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is the co-editor of the digital book (Un)Locked: Memories of Wuhan published by Scale. His PhD thesis is entitled Zhibo: An Ethnography of Ordinary, Boring, and Vulgar Livestreams.
